Water Resources

Welcome!  The Water Resources Page has been created to better inform AAW members on a variety of water issues.  All AAW members are invited to submit information on water issues to the Water Resource Chair.  In order to better serve AAW, it is important to establish a network across the membership.

AAW WATER RESOURCES NEWS

The USEPA has announced that Greenhouse Gases are dangerous. The future of regulations for agriculture is on shaky ground.  As the EPA begins rule changes, I want to share some background info:

On the USEPA Website;

Methane Sources http://epa.gov/methane/sources.html

Food for Thought: According to the USEPA data Wetlands release 175Tg a year.  Contributing as the number one natural source of methane emissions. So why is the USEPA proposing more creations of wetlands if it is releasing a dangerous greenhouse gas?
