AAW Policy Bites: Agricultural Labor & Workforce Stability

A strong agricultural workforce is essential to keeping America’s farms productive. AAW supports policies that provide farmers with a reliable, legal workforce while ensuring fair labor practices.

Our Position: AAW supports a year-round agricultural visa program, fair wage structures, and workforce training initiatives. We oppose excessive regulations that make it harder for farms to hire and retain skilled workers.

Why It Matters: Without a stable workforce, farms struggle to harvest crops, care for livestock, and remain competitive. Labor shortages drive up costs, impacting both farmers and consumers.
