JORDAN, Utah, (AgPR) March 29, 2022 | American Agri-Women (AAW) updated its legislative policy positions in the areas of natural resources, commodities and education, and ag business and economics at its annual mid-year meeting held recently in Jordan, Utah.
AAW, a national coalition of farm, ranch and agribusiness women, is in its 47th year of advocating for agriculture. The mid-year meeting is also a time when AAW’s executive board meets with the American AgriWomen Foundation for a joint planning session. The Foundation promotes and develops educational and leadership programs and opportunities relevant to agriculture.
The Town Hall is an event during the meeting where members update each other on issues critical to their regions and operations.
The guest speaker was Margaret Byfield of American Stewards of Liberty, who spoke about the 30x30 Land Grab.
