American Agri-Women Submits Comments Regarding the Proposed SEC Rule Developing Listing Standards for Natural Asset Companies

For Immediate Release

January 9, 2024

Crookston, MN - The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has proposed a rule that would allow the establishment of Natural Asset Companies (NAC's) to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. We cannot allow elite investors, including foreign interests, to have the ability to purchase or manage our national and state parks, conservation easements on private land, federal land or farmland. This is a direct threat to farmers and ranchers across the country, as well as oil and gas production, mineral development and food production.

Full AAW comments can be found HERE.

More background information and details can be found at American Stewards for Liberty HERE.

The comment period to oppose the proposed rule change that establishes NACs is closing on January 18th. Please comment individually and as an affiliate!

There are three ways to choose from to comment (please only use one method):

  1. Access the SEC NAC portal to electronically submit comments HERE.

  2. Email comments to rule-comments@sec.gov.  You must include "File No. SR-NYSE-2023-09" as the subject line.

  3. Paper comments can be submitted in triplicate to Secretary, Securities and Exchange Commission, 100 F Street NE, Washington, DC 20549–1090.

Comments can be as simple as stating that you are opposed to this proposed rule with a sentence or two about why and signing your name and providing contact information. Every comment counts!

Thank you to those of you who contacted your legislators after our last NAC Action Alert. Keep your representatives in Congress up to date as well!
