How far can a bee fly?

The Remarkable Life of a Worker Bee
The Remarkable Life of a Worker Bee

Bees typically stay within 1-2 miles of their hive. However, during their short lifespan, a worker bee can fly a distance equivalent to one and a half times around the Earth. These insects are vital to agriculture, pollinating various crops, including fruits, vegetables, and nuts.

Worker bees symbolize the tireless efforts to maintain agricultural systems worldwide. Without bees, reduced crop yields and increased food prices would significantly impact our food supply. They are essential to food production and showcase the critical connection between man, nature, and agriculture.
